French Art Nouveau vase dating to circa 1900, signed François Moreau. The amphora-form body features two branch-form handles and raised botanical decoration depicting trailing leaves, flowers and clusters of berries.
Originally created as a decorative vase, the piece has been newly converted into a cordless lamp, preserving the original form and warm brown patinated finish. The naturalistic decoration and asymmetrical branches are characteristic of the botanical influence of the Art Nouveau period.
