Originally crafted as a candlestick, the piece features a fluted column, tripod paw feet, decorative drip pan, and its original hanging extinguishing chains. The design reflects the enduring influence of French Empire and neoclassical forms popular throughout the 19th century.
Converted to a cordless lamp and paired with a custom Maison Remy shade in cream and black stripe fabric, finished with black pleated fringe. Shade handmade in the USA using fabric imported from France.
