Antique French Painted Cast Iron Lattice Jardinière

Antique French cast iron jardinière featuring an open latticework design with foliate detailing and a decorative pierced border along the rim. The square form is raised on four small feet and was designed for use as a planter or cachepot.

The cast iron retains an aged black painted finish with areas of wear and oxidation developed over time. The open trellis construction allows the planted vessel within to remain partially visible.

Intended for outdoor garden use. Patina and surface wear are consistent with age and exposure to the elements.
